Fondatore
Mr. Herzum is the group’s founder and President. Known by the industry as a visionary, he has always been at the forefront of pragmatic approaches to software engineering and IT. He pioneered object-oriented approaches in-the-large in the ‘80s, component-based approaches in the ‘90s, and Web Services, service oriented architectures and enterprise architectures since 1999. He is also widely recognized as the creator of modern software factories.
Today, he is helping companies around the world managing IT for business advantage, define IT strategies, launch and improve enterprise architecture efforts, establish agile software factories, and resolve complex development and integration problems.
Mr. Herzum is the main creator of COSM Project, the agile approach to large-scale development and integration, and of COSM Enterprise, the third-generation enterprise architecture approach.
He is also the principal author of the best-selling book Business Component Factory, which has been translated in several languages and adopted by educational institutions curriculums around the world.
